This residence was designed as a celebration of luxurious, modern living. Located along Ocean Way, The Residences at W exude a sense of quiet sophistication, comfort, and airiness. Designed for families and lovers of life, CHALKED created rooms to make memories in. The entertainment space is minimally furnished to provide more room for activity and lounging. The furniture and area-carpet are plush and inviting, whereas cove lighting uplifts the entire room and creates a warm, cosy atmosphere. The bespoke children’s room is a dream come true for kids and your inner child. Making use of the high ceiling, a loft bed sits like a crown over the mini lounge area. Stairs, climbing ropes and cubby holes adorn this spectacle, making way for a larger space. The pièce de résistance in this seaside home is the private outdoor pool with attached dining area. Cape Royale
Nestled at the mouth of the marina, this Cape Royale home is the epitome of seaside living. With the South China Sea at its doorstep, we took inspiration from the sea and designed this home as a nod to coastal elegance. A light colour palette perfectly mimics the coastal backdrop – crisp white and beige shades reminiscent of the sandy beaches flow throughout all rooms. The living area is a study in minimalist elegance, with the curved geometry of the sofa and armchairs inspired by the smooth ridges of seashells. A plush area rug adorned with a ripple effect anchors the space, mirroring the wave-like lines on the room’s feature wall, both bringing to mind the image of gentle ripples of light playing on the water. Comfort and relaxation take precedence in the bedroom. Awashed in natural light, we designed each room as if it was Neptune’s bed chamber. Velvety linen adorns the beds while a tufted headboard sits against textured wallpaper and smooth, dark wood. As night falls, one gets the sensation of going to bed inside a luxurious seashell
Seascape
Here, relaxation reigns supreme. Perched on the southernmost tip of Sentosa Island, this Seascape home is a luxurious reprieve by the sea. Drawing inspiration from the sun, sand, and sky, we decided on a light colour palette to bring the seaside experience indoors. Designed to evoke a sense of easy, luxuriously understated living – grey hues, natural wood tones, and a cool tile flooring in the living area keeps the light flowing through the open plan space. Full-length glass windows and doors are framed boldly in black. Filmy, sheer curtains hang at the ready to be drawn across the sweeping view of the sea. The expansive balcony exudes minimalist ease defined by clean lines and natural finishes. To capitalise on the sweeping seascape beyond the glass-enclosed balcony, cosy lounge chairs are perfectly staged to maximise the breathtaking views, and modern side tables punctuate the bare-by-design space.
South Beach Residences
This modern South Beach home celebrates the unity of contrasts and is symphony of beauty. The interior walls are nearly entirely paneled with natural wood veneer, while the floors are a smooth marble tile. Existing side by side, the wood and marble provide an inescapable sense of polished grandeur and moody elegance. The harmonious serenity between curved lines and sharp edges become more pronounced the deeper you venture into this home. The wall between the living and dining room is designed to be deliberately curvaceous to soften the sharp angles of its original structure. The entertainment wall curves around the living room and melds into a home bar, complete with built-in cabinetry and a wine display case. Rounded chairs surround a rectangular, marble-topped dining table, completing the gentle harmony of contrast. In the bedroom sharp edges and crisp lines are softened by plush linens and textured upholstery. Floor to ceiling windows frame an unobstructed view outside, inviting the city’s skyline to become part of the room’s decor.
South Beach Residences
Sunlight floods into the living room of this South Beach abode, where a symphony of clean lines and geometric shapes orchestrates an atmosphere of pure luxury. A restrained palette of cream, fawn, and dusty blue is a backdrop to the curated furniture pieces and other artful details we’ve carefully crafted for this home. Designed to accentuate the length of the room, the carpet and sofa were both customised to ensure harmony with the space. Upholstered in quality suede, the sofa not only provides a plush seating experience but also serves as the focal anchor against the extended wall and is balanced by the floating wall cabinet facing it. The seamless blend of delicate wainscoting, intricate beadings on the wall panelling and spray-painted panels through the entire house marries sleekness with sophistication. Bespoke twin chandeliers light up the ceiling, its seashell-like pendants inspired by the proximity to the sea. Step through the tinted, multi-fold doors onto the balcony where the custom bar offers a breathtaking view of the sea and sky; the perfect place to start and end the day.
New Futura
We imagined the interior of this New Futura residence to be functional and flexible to meet the needs of a modern city dweller, with colors and textures within to mirror that mentality. The details are artful and grand, with a subtle playfulness evoked by the pastel colour palette crafted for this home. A visually layered entry experience, geometric mirrors line the foyer as an exciting precursor to the rest of the space. Artistic, digitally-printed wallpapers adorn the walls of every room, with each panel telling a unique story through intricate patterns and delicate motifs, elevating it to a level of timeless elegance. A custom-made velvety sofa sits against this one-of-a-kind backdrop, its length purposefully customised to ensure everyone gets a seat. Different textures and touches of colour serve as stylish punctuations in every room, with bright carpets, cushion covers, and pastel dining chairs all coming together in a harmonious blend of style and artistic expression.
Gramercy park
Sitting demurely on Grange Road, Gramercy Park is a vision of modernity without and within. Inspired by its exclusive location, the design is a marriage between modern sensibilities and classical proportions, with just the right touch of indulgence. Muted color palettes, classic textures, and carefully curated décor elements blend seamlessly to create an atmosphere of quiet grandeur that stands the test of time. Cream floors bring warmth to the public spaces, from the arrival lobby to the living room. A creamy, tufted sofa sits beneath a cove-coffered ceiling adorned with contemporary chandeliers. The bedrooms are lush sanctuaries, with a calming use of wood and gilt hardware that delicately contrasts with the other plush textures and upholstery. Expansive windows send natural light pouring into every room, softened only by the custom shades and curtains.
New Futura
Nestled within the city-centre district of River Valley, New Futura is a celebration of modern classical elegance. The design palette is composed of cream marble and dark wood, while the furnishings bring accents of colour. The gentle curves of the cove ceiling and arch corridors provide soft contrast against the marble and hardwood floors as the breathtaking view of the Singapore skyline is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows in every room, allowing abundant natural light to flood in and creating a seamless connection with nature. Touches of bespoke luxury come in the form of an Akar De Nissim rocking chair – a minimally sophisticated piece thoughtfully placed in the living room as an invitation to unwind in style. Hung in the place of honour above the plush bed, an exquisite hand-painted wallpaper art in the master bedroom elevates the sense of exclusivity in this private residence with its fine strokes and delicate motif.
St Regis Residence
